McCarthy, president and chief executive officer of Unum US, will be representing the Company at Citigroup's Financial Services Conference on January 30, 2007 at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;It is even believed the President Thomas Watjen has been afforded time for a presentation.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;Only weeks ago UNUM were the subject of a into UNUM and staff tactics deployed to deliberately decline valid claims.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;This news comes just 10 days after Citigroup reported the largest quarterly loss in its 196-year history.  Poor guidance perhaps??
